outofcharacter;;
Name/Alias; Katie
backincharacter;;
Full Name; Ian Alexandar Edwards-Weasley
Age//Year; 15//5th
House; Ravenclaw
Parents; Charlie and Isabelle Weasley
Affliation; Neutral, to save his own butt.
Blood; pure
History;
Not too long after we saw Charlie in Harry’s fourth year, he met his future wife-to-be. Not that he knew this at the time. All he knew was that he met a stunning Romanian who shared his love of dragons. Within the year they were married, but he kept it a secret from the other Weasleys, feeling it wasn’t the time to share such happy news.
A year later Isabelle was pregnant with twins: a boy and a girl. A few years later, Ian was born. Two years later, Isabelle was pregnant again with a girl, then two more years following that she gave birth to the final last and final member of the Edwards-Weasley family: a girl.
E was born on Christmas, in Romania, where he lived for 13 years of his life. When Hogwarts was reopened, all of the kids, excluding the twins, switched over. The remaining two continued at the Romanian school of magic.
The boy grew up in a happy, and incredibly full, household. While they didn’t have much contact with the Weasley side of the family (because they lived so far from each other, among other reasons*), the Edwards-Weasleys were surrounded by the Edwards half, a large pureblood family in Romania.
(To give you an idea of how many people the family grew up around: Isabelle as one of six, each of who got married and had at least three kids. Added to that, she had several aunts and uncles who all several kids, who each had several kids… It’s a large family. And many live in the same house. The ones who don’t live in the main house, live within ten minutes of it.)
Anyways, Ian had a good childhood in Romania and loves going home every break.
Oh, and he doesn’t like Voldie taking over the school and all, but he believes he has other better things to do than take part in a rebellion or anything. Plus, he’d rather not die. It’s not like the Death Eaters are actually harming the students, or Ian’s family, so he’s okay.
*The Weasleys weren’t too happy with eldest son who held on telling his parents about being married until Naomi and Nolan were about three, and Isabelle was very pregnant with E. The relationship between Charlie and his family hasn’t been the best ever since. (This relationship has only affected the kids by them not seeing their Weasley cousins as much as they would if Charlie and his parents were happy with each other.)
Appearance;
Ian is an Edwards through and through. He looks nothing like the Weasley side of his family:
First, his hair: it’s the same shade of brown he shares with the rest of his nonWeasley extended family. He, personally, wears it a bit long and shaggy. He generally pushes if off to the side, out of his eyes.
Ah, his eyes. Part number two. His big eyes are the light blue that are dominant in the Edwards line. (Many of his cousins have the same blues eyes, several more have other light eyes, such as green. Very few actually have dark eyes.)
E is pretty short for his age, much to his disappointment, standing at only five foot five. He’s slender, but soft; he obviously doesn’t play any sports. He finds them boring. He’d much rather skip Quidditch games and spend time with his friends.
He is pretty pale, even though he tended to spend a lot of time outside at home, in Romania, but still, he’s pale. It doesn’t bother him too much, though. Looks are not that important for him.
The boy generally sticks to wearing his Hogwarts uniform during the week. On the weekend, he’ll just wear a pair of baggy jeans and a t-shirt or sweater, depending on the weather. Again, looks aren’t that important to him.
Personality;
Ian is pretty easy-going, because he grew up among so many people. His temper is very hard to ignite, unless you insult his family, extended or immediate. He lets his pride get the better of him then and only then.
He only shows emotion around his family. Else wise, his face is a bank mask; he looks as if he’s disinterested in everything. He rarely smiles if not surrounded by Edwardses. The only clue to how he really feels about something is in his eyes. No matter how hard he tries, his eyes still reveal him. As a result, he wears large and thick black sunglasses all the time. He removes them only when asked so by a teacher.
E is actually a pretty good liar, because he is an Edwards. Since they are a prominent family, it’s required for everyone to become at least a decent liar, else they’re no better than everyone else in the world.
He likes to be around his friends, who he tends to cling to, since he doesn’t make new friends real easy. It was hard for him to start at Hogwarts, since he’d only know his sisters and his cousins. Especially, when at his old school, he was surrounded by Edwards and was known and respected as being an Edwards.
Lastly, he’s true to his house: he is definitely gifted in magic. He’s a natural at it. Too bad he only works and practices at it so he doesn’t disappoint his Grandfather, the head of the family. He does above the bare minimum, and as a result receives a little above the average. He is planning on studying for the OWLs… if he gets around to it.
Extras?;
Quidditch; haha. No.
Pets; a black owl, named for one of his cousins, as a joke.
Names; Ian or E, depending on how lazy the person is.
Bilingual; English and Romanian.
Boxers or briefs?; Boxers.
Family; middle child; second and last boy.
Other; he doesn't share his parents' interest in dragons and other mystical beings. His favorite classes are Charms and Transfiguration and Potions.
Roleplay Sample;
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Ellie. She loved her best friend Jordan. Too bad they had a fight and Ellie ended up dating a kid named Ryan instead. Then she moved off to live with her faja in France. What a cruel world. The end.
