Full Name:: Gerald Batholomew Lupin
Age//Year::Sixteen/6th
House:: Hufflepuff
Affiliation:: The Order
Parents:: Nymphdora Tonks and Remus Lupin
Blood:: Pure?
History::
Born on the normal night of October 25th, Gerald was a completely healthy baby boy. Remus couldn't have been happier. With dark brown eyes and near black hair, he didn’t really take after his parents. However, he did get his father’s long, pensive face. Besides his birth, nothing was really normal. Remus picked out his first name, Gerald and Tonks picked out his middle. Bartholomew. With his eccentric middle name, came quite an eccentric life.
He was raised in a family that was fighting for the good, for the order. He learnt right and wrong from a very early age and taught to fight for what he believed in, but even before he learnt that, he remembered his mother the most. She was always changing appearance to keep him and his elder sister amused when they were young. She had never been too good at cleaning, but at least she was amusing.
During his youth, he seemed to grow further from his family. He was always a loner by nature. He developed a stutter when he learnt how to talk. When he was four, he got a baby brother, whom his older sister was quite fond of but he was not. His brother liked to pull hair and Gerald having quite a lot of curls got his hair pulled frequently. He shied away from his brother. He found him annoying and loud. He, unlike the other two took more after his father than anyone else, a thinker, mostly a loner.
Once he reached around the age of eight, he learnt more about Death Eaters and Orders and became more and more worried about his family. Would they get killed? Surely the Dark Lord knew? At any rate, his worry grew and he couldn’t stop worrying. His stutter grew worse despite the work his mother spent on trying to correct it.
Because of the stutter and liking to be alone, Gerald withdrew even further from his family and childhood friends. His stutter was embarrassing and he hated to talk to people because of it. His worry increased with age and with the comprehension of life. His worrying got worse. Bad enough that eventually he was taken to St. Mungo’s where he was diagnosed with GAD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
At age eleven, Gerald was accepted into Hogwarts and was sorted into the Hufflepuff house. His stutter still embarrassed him, so he didn’t talk to many people. He made few friends, but with those few he became friends with, he was extremely loyal. He would rather die than betray his friends. Over the years at Hogwarts, he has learned to be more social and friendly to everyone and has learnt to keep his mouth shut about where his loyalties lies when he had uncomfortable run in with a few Slytherins in his fourth year.
Appearance::
Gerald is a very nerdy looking kid. He has a lot of untameable curly near-black hair. It sits around his ears in loose curls in some places and tight curls in others. His eyes are a dark brown and are heavily lidded, giving him a rather depressed and worn look. Dark circles usually sit under his eyes from lack of sleep. His nose is long and slightly slanted to the left. He has high, but gentle cheekbones and a well defined chin. His lips are thin and his ears much too big.
Gerald is neither tall nor short, standing at an average 5’7. He leans more into the podgy side of weight. He isn’t overweight, but he isn’t skinny either. His shoulders are slimmer and more feminine than most males. His hips are full but not curvy. Gerald has a slight instep with his right foot. His skin is paler than most, but not in the perfect ivory vampire skin. His skin is rather blotchy and unhealthy looking.
This Lupin is usually found wearing plain coloured shirts, such as solid blacks and reds, black being the preferred colour. They are almost always button up shirts and are usually wrinkled and uncared for. He usually wears a pair of torn jeans and walks around in his bare feet. Gerald’s nails are usually biting down till they’re bleeding and his hands are always very dry.
Personality::
Gerald comes off as a very anti-social and quiet guy, that is as long as you don’t talk to him. He tends to be a fairly friendly guy. He believes in giving everyone a chance, no matter their name or house. He seems to be nervous because of a stutter he has had since he was young. He has troubles with consonants and pausing. Once one gets past the stutter, they find that he isn’t nervous at all, but rather a very friendly guy.
Although he can be friendly and open, he does have another side. Because of his GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) he is a worrier. He doesn’t tend to show it to the world, but he does worry and he worries a lot. He worries about anything from day to day things like if his stutter makes him look stupid to things about death and Death Eaters. Because of this near constant worrying, he does tend to be slightly irritable. Gerald tends towards snapping at people without meaning or meaning too. But at least, afterwards, he feels regret and the need to apologise.
He is often sleep deprived because of the worrying, so he finds it very hard to pay attention to people. He comes off as a bit… ‘Spacey’ and not all there, but that’s because he zones in and out when he’s had a rough night and often falls asleep on his feet. He is even known to fall asleep while talking to people.
Gerald, who also takes after his mother does have his quirky side as well. He isn’t the greatest at cleaning or staying tidy, just like her. His clothes are often wrinkled, mostly because he doesn’t care and secondly, because he doesn’t know how to get the wrinkles out with magic. He can be fun and up beat when he wants to be and when he is having a good day that is mostly worry free.Like most people who suffer from GAD, Gerald is known for bouts of depression. They are usually mild, but do tend to make him non-social. When he is feeling down, he just tends to avoid most people. When having a depressive day, he is prone to lashing out at others and saying things he doesn’t mean.
When it comes to friends, Gerald is slow to make them and has few. But the few he has, he is stubbornly loyal for. He’d rather die than give up a friend’s secret or betray their trust. If you cross Gerald or lie to him and he finds out, you better watch out because he doesn’t take betrayal lightly. And to go with that, Gerald doesn’t get mad often, but when he does, he is a force to be reckoned with.
Extras?:: Errr...He has a stutter and suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder.. Gerald has a black owl named Nyx.

With a gasp, the young Hufflepuff sat up quickly, his back as stiff as a board. His hair stood up on ends in all direction, trying to decide if it was curly or just wavy. His breath was laboured and panicky. He was worrying about his Potions test the next day and had just dreamt that he had failed. Moonlight poured into the room, nearly thick enough to cut out of the air. The boy was Gerald Lupin.
“D-d-did I I I stud-dy enough?” He questioned to himself as he pushed the covers off. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, only a pair of loose, greying pants. His chest was neither thin or fat, but in between, he certainly didn’t have a six pack though. Dark circles sat under his eyes, nearly as purple as plums. The boy pushed himself out of bed, muttering the different potions and their uses under his breath. “I-I haaaaaven’t stud-d-died enough…” He muttered, to himself, his stutter evident with his worry.
Gerald made his way out of the dorm room, managing to trip over his trunk and the boy’s next to him as well. He woke up the fellow Hufflepuff and got a pillow whipped at him. Well, it was three in the morning. “Suh-sorry.” He apologized softly and slipped out of the room. Once he was in the common room, he found his bag, which he had left there the previous night and pulled out his potions book. Immediately, he started skimming through the pages.
He must have lost track of time, because when he looked up, the sun was already streaming through the windows. “Oh, g-g-gawd!” He exclaimed. “I’m guh-g-going to buh-be uhhhh-late!” He jumped to his feet, rushed up stairs, pulled on a wrinkled, blood red shirt and stumbled out of the room, trying to do up the buttons. “I’m laaaa-tuh-tuh-late!” Gerald rushed out of the common room at top speed, not even noticing that it was only quarter past six.
