::History::
Oliver was born and forgotten quite quickly, until he was taken up by the Lupin family. Unknown to them was whether they were receiving a muggle son or a wizard. They were unable to answer this question until Oliver had reached the age of four.
While his older sister never showed much interest in the outsider of the family, Oliver craved her acceptance. To please Musikal, Oliver would bring her gifts. First it was just bunches of flowers he had scooped up him self from the backyard, and then it was leaves that he thought were pretty. Later it turned into living creatures. A dwarf hamster, a bird, a cat... whatever he thought would please her he brought to her. His parents were under investigation wondering where these things were coming from. One day they had walked in on him while he was in his bedroom, peering through the door they noticed him pulling his toys from his toy box. Now there is nothing unusual about that, but instead of pulling a fire truck out of the box Oliver had his hand wrapped around a ferret, followed by some balloons. This scene made things a little more clearer for the Lupin’s, they had adopted a young wizard.
Being only a year younger than his sister, Oliver looked up to her, he was even proud of her when she had received her Hogwart’s letter. He couldn’t wait until his own letter would come to him by owl. During his sister’s first year of school Oliver had the time to play with his little brother who was quite a bit younger than him. He still managed to play cars and whatnot with mild interest. It was the only form of entertainment he had until his sister would return for the Holidays.
Oliver’s first year was just like any others, now the small twist of Voldemort taking over the school did turn things around a little, but he was excited about his classes none the less. Oliver did fear for his life and his sister’s, but deep down he knew they would return safely home at some point in time. Sorted into Hufflepuff seemed to be right up his alley. Oliver was different from many others and did his part to stand out.
During Oliver’s second year he noticed some thing different about him self. Sure boy’s his age were developing crushes on fellow female classmates, but he was also showing interest in some of his male classmates as well. At first he thought he was broken, something must be wrong. Perhaps this is what happens when children don’t grow up with their real parents, he thought. Later discovering that this wasn’t abnormal, just different. Oliver took it in his best interest to tell some one he trusted. Musikal was the first person who came to mind, sure she didn’t like him much but she was family. His parents were next on his list of coming out, followed by his friends and then the school.
Oliver doesn’t hide the fact that he likes men and women. He thinks of it nothing more then natural, and believes everyone should view it that way. In fact Oliver prefers to by called by his middle name now, Coy. It just seems much more feminine to him.
::Appearance::
Oliver obviously doesn’t look like either of his parental units, nor does he look similar to either his brother or sister. Musikal has long platinum blonde hair, Oliver is just the opposite. Oliver has short to medium length hair, reaching just down the back of his neck and his bangs reaching down to his eyebrows, an inch longer then it should be. His dark hair is truly in need of a trim, but Oliver prefers it at a much longer length. He and his parents compromised somewhere in the middle. Aside from his long dark locks his eyes are a similar shade of warm brown.
His face is a long oval shape, his side swept bangs are there to help hide his larger forehead. His eye fit his face nicely while his lips seem to stand out a little more. Having a wider smile seems to distract the attention from his elongated face. His body matches the rest of his structure. Standing about six foot Oliver has developed a lanky figure with broad shoulders and no curves. He doesn’t find his figure flattering, but does enjoy the small clothing he can fit him self into.
His wardrobe consists of tight jeans and vans sneakers, along with the traditional black chucks. Button up shirts and muggle band tees also line his closet. Most days however he loves to dress up, a old fashion suit and tie with a vintage twist often finds it’s way onto his thin figure. Carnivals. That’s where he gets his inspiration from. When he was younger his family once traveled to a muggle carnival for the day, the bright colors and outrageous costumes forever trapped themselves in his mind. As for the carne make-up, black eyeliner is the only thing that has ever interested him and perhaps a chapstick with a light shade of pink.
::Personality::
Oliver, or Coy as he likes to be called, has many sides to him. The most well known side to him is his very open and loving personality. Coy isn’t ashamed to share with the student body that he’s a bisexual, in fact he want’s people to know. He doesn’t like it’s something that people should be forced to hide from the rest of the world. Coy has even shared this information with his own family, he is unsure whether they support him or not, but he hasn’t heard anything negative slip from their lips. Coy loves people. Good or bad, Coy adores the human mind and what it’s capable of. He tends to befriend complete strangers in just minutes of meeting them. Something about him just makes others comfortable around him, he has a very relaxing aura.
Like most people Coy cherishes his friends and family. He loves them for who they are and doesn’t wish for them the change just to please him. Coy just adores attention, he craves it. Obviously he only wishes to receive positive attention, but he’ll take what he can get. Depressed, of course not. Sure every one has their ups and downs, but Coy would never think of hurting him self and death would never cross his mind.
Even through people are relaxed around him, Coy doesn’t like opening up to others. Sure he will share his sexual preferences with every one, but his deep dark secrets will only remain within his own mind. Good luck to any one who wishes to know of them. Now for the rarest side of Coy.
Because he was adopted by the Lupin’s at such a young age many assume that he doesn’t give a crap about his biological parents, wrong. In the back of his mind he does wonder. He wish he could know about the simple things. Whether his eyes were his mother’s or father’s, whether he was a Half-blood or Pure-blood. Little things. Coy tries not to dwell on what he doesn’t know, but once he sinks into that rare occasion of loneliness his mind tends to wonder to these very questions of who he is.
So I guess Coy does have a small sadistic side to him, but a very faint one. And as for enemies... He doesn’t have many. Sure there is the occasional homophobic student in the hall that spats rude remakes in his direction, but that never seemed to phase him all that much.
