Name/Alias: Jenibelle//Jenn
BiC::
Full Name:: Chameil Alice Longbottom Better known as Chell
Age//Year:: Seventeen//Seventh
House:: Gryffindor
Affiliation:: Order
Parents:: Lavender Brown && Neville Longbottom
Blood:: Pure
History:: Chameil Alice Longbottom was born on May 24th; the first in what might seem like never-ending generation of Longbottom's. Most girls of her age might resent this large family structure in which she was forced to be brought up; but not Chameil, she lived with it sometimes basking in its benefits and other times merely hiding away from its entire existence. As a child Chameil spent most of her time in and around her home and scarcely took to meeting up with friends or neighbours. Although she was not a quiet child nor was she rude or overly outgoing. She would often be found reading by a small but proverbial brook in the patch of forest nearby. By the age of eleven Chameil had become very familiar with herself, or at least she thought she had. In fact she had a very questionable perception of herself and her ability.
Later on in her life she learnt of the re-opening of Hogwarts and was more than keen to attend. Along with an eager bunch of students she entered her first year at Hogwarts wide-eyed and somewhat fearful of what might lie ahead. Her first year did not start with the bang that she might have hoped; although she acquired a pleasant and useful existence at Hogwarts she couldn't help but feel there might be something she was missing out on.
Appearance:: Chameil's medium length, sandy/brown hair comes from her mother, Lavender. Her loose waves are left to hang down and rest just below her shoulders. Her Sapphire eyes and strong cheekbones show a truly shocking resemblance to her father who had it would seem slimmed out from him younger years. However her mother had influenced her appearance, she shared Lavenders slender build; giving her looks a feminine touch.
Chameil is of medium height measuring 5’7” yet she appears to have finished growing. She tends to dress as she feels and has a very unique style. She is not good at flattering her figure and on some occasion she may even allow herself to look fat but it didn't bother in the slightest. On an average day she could be caught out in an off the shoulder, baggy shirt and simple skirt. Rarely looking in the mirror, her appearance is very natural and she applies make-up on a very rare basis. The girls in her year and even her siblings had told her what a transformation that might be but she was of a pure spirit and it showed inside and out.
Personality:: Chameil is a girl of many levels; bravery and beauty being the two obvious ones to hand. Or so it would seem; she just happens to be oblivious to it all. Overshadowed by those around her, she is pleasantly ignored. She believes that her own ability stands in her way when in fact, it is only her belief and lack of drive that does so. She is seen as a friend to all but a best friend to no-one as her lack of self-confidence kicks in making her skittish and stopping her from showing anything but false emotion and fear. She giving compliments in plenty and never having learnt how to receive one, she responds to praise in a less than gracious manner; not accepting that it is or might just be true.
Chameil is a really kind hearted girl. Although with her; words and actions usually come before thought and time but her heart is always in the right place. She couldn’t possibly care any more about her closest friends and family they mean absolutely everything to her.
Chell, much like both of her parents, is not the brightest candle on the cake but she has her moments. For instance her best moments often come through reading or debating. She is a talented reader and uses an extensive vocabulary in speech yet intelligence in magic still deceives her. Although she has many characteristics of a Hufflepuff her bravery and loyalty prevails every time.
The thing that she questions, that she might always question; whether she will ever be noticed for anything other than a girl who everyone recognises yet no-one knows.
Extras?:: - Eldest Longbottom Child - Has a pet miniature albino cat named Rossouw; pronounced Roo-So. She was given him by her father upon going to Hogwarts and usually sat on her shoulder, pocket or in her bag.
Roleplay Sample:: I suppose I have to... let me dig something up then.
Chameil awoke to the scratching of owl’s feet. A decrepit, elderly barn owl stood agitatedly screeching at her from the bedside cabinet. In protest, she let out a grumble and slowly lifted herself upright; ignoring the small creature hopping from one leg to the other. Instead she drew her attention to the admirable scenes outside the window, it was a beautiful looking morning; and she sat reviewing her wonderful dream. She was a trifle bitter after being awoken from it when what she considered the ‘best part’ was only just beginning. After a few minutes of deep thought she looked up at the extremely frustrated barn owl and couldn’t help but laugh at its resemblance to her siblings who often grew impatient with her laid back nature.
Finally, she relieved it of her letter and within an instant it was away, leaving only the scratch marks it had placed rigidly into the otherwise well-kept cabinet. Her dream had been a most engaging one, which consequently had been reoccurring at various intervals throughout the previous few months. She dare not recount it to anyone. She didn’t really share anything anymore, not because she didn't want to, more because she wouldn't know whom to share with. She never spoke intimately to anyone other than her cat, Rossouw, who presently sat next to her bolt upright on her pillow. She could tell him anything and she did so, recounting ever last detail of her dream to the surprisingly tuned-in feline.
She put her letter down on the cabinet and got up, knowing full well what it was, she only wondered why it had turnt up quite so late. The beautiful calligraphy that littered the envelope could mean only one thing; her Hogwarts supplies list that had come considerably later than it had the year before.
With a last glance out of the window she got out of bed. She pulled on her clothes and let out yawn, checking her appearance over in the mirror. Displeased with it she took her horsehair brush from the drawer and began brushing it through her sleek locks. Not quite as much effort as her peers seemed to put into their appearances but it didn't bother her an awful. Vain she most certainly was not.
She grabbed her wand and stuffed it into the newly adapted wand-pocket of her jean skirt, a beaming smile deeply carved into her features. Leaving her room she closed the door behind her and made her way down to the kitchen. Knowing none of her family would be awake yet; the lazy lot they were, she tiptoed past her parents' room and made herself something to eat in the kitchen.
Not up to standard? Need a bit more? Let me know. I'm tired and I've spent long enough on this as it is. C=

Ahhh! Jenn! I am sooo happy that you decided to join our happiness. Buuuuuut, there are a few little things I would like to point out with your application. I didn't forget that I said I would help you. ^.^
I believe Paprika made the minimum limit for applications 3 paragraphs for each section...? So, if you could just add some more to the sections that need it, it would be great. You could add more about her family and go into more detail, perhaps.
EDIT:: Bleh. I just realized I was on Vance's account and not the Headmistress account. Oh well.

I will do that, thanks hun. I'm sorry I didn't know about the three paragraph minimun rule or I would have been sure to follow it. I'll modify the post as soon as I can. I will add more about family like you said but I didn't want to sort of god it as there are a lot of siblings for this character... [/center]

With a massive amount of siblings surrounding her day and night, Chameil grew up to be good at sharing, discreet yet never outgoing as her brothers and sisters were always more dominant. Her introvert nature only grew in stength as she was brought up in this overly large family.

Ok I'm done, hope that's better. Apologies for the first time around.

It's all good now. ^.^ Accepted!
If you want, after you create your account, you can re-post this so it doesn't have a million posts on it and stuff. Up to you, though. It really doesn't matter to me.
